The 2026 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations will take place from July 26 to August 16, 2026, in Morocco. Let’s take a look back at all the finals in the history of the competition.

The first two finals of the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations were played over two legs. Nigeria claimed the inaugural title against Cameroon with an aggregate score of 6-0 in 1991 and followed it up four years later with an 11-2 aggregate victory over South Africa.

The most recent final was among the most thrilling, with the Super Falcons narrowly edging past the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco in a dramatic 3-2 victory.

It’s worth noting that the 2020 edition could not be held due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
