As part of their preparations for the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, the national teams of Algeria and Egypt are scheduled to face each other twice in friendly encounters.

The Algerian women's squad is expected to travel to Cairo for a training camp, where they will take on their Egyptian counterparts on February 24 and March 2.
These two matches will serve as a real test for both teams ahead of the continental tournament, which is set to run from March 17 to April 3.
