5 things to know about Mouhib Chemmakh, the new Club Africain goalkeeper

Club Africain has officially announced the signing of Mouhib Chemmakh, the goalkeeper who previously played for Etoile Sportive de Metlaoui.

Here are five key facts about the new last line of defense for the Red and Whites as he prepares to take a major step forward in his young career.

• Mouhib Chemmakh is 23 years old and boasts an impressive frame (1.92 meters), which serves him well in his role as a goalkeeper.
• He has signed a four-year contract with the Beb Jedid club, keeping him there until June 2029.
• ES Metlaoui signed him in 2022 from CO Medenine. He spent three seasons with the mining basin club.

• He helped ESM secure 8th place in Ligue Pro 1 last season, recording 9 clean sheets and conceding just 21 goals in 23 matches.
• He will compete with Ghaith Yefreni, Dries Arfaoui, and Wassim Maghzaoui for the number one goalkeeper spot in the first team.
