Algerian Ligue 1: MC Alger without Guendouz against CR Belouizdad
MC Alger head coach Khaled Ben Yahia will have to do without his starting goalkeeper, Alexis Guendouz, for the rescheduled Matchday 16 fixture of the Algerian Ligue 1 against CR Belouizdad.
For this high-stakes clash between MCA and CRB, the Algerian international shot-stopper will miss out due to injury. Abdelatif Ramdane will step between the posts for Al-Ameed.

The Algiers club announced the bad news on its official Facebook page: “Goalkeeper Alexis Guendouz will be absent for the match against CR Belouizdad, postponed from Matchday 16 of the league, due to persistent pain from his recent injury (calf strain), specifically a contraction of the calf muscle. As a result, our team will be represented in goal by Abdelatif Ramdane, with Mathias Hammache as backup.”

This season, Alexis Guendouz has featured in 27 matches across all competitions, conceding 16 goals and keeping 17 clean sheets, making him one of Algeria’s most reliable goalkeepers.
Before traveling to face CRB on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 16:45 GMT, MC Alger sits atop the Algerian Ligue 1 standings, six points clear of JS Saoura and with three games in hand.
