AS Monaco: Krépin Diatta's future remains uncertain
Interview
AS Monaco is still hesitating over the case of Krépin Diatta. As the summer transfer window approaches, the Principality club has yet to make a clear decision regarding the future of the Senegalese international, whose contract runs until June 2026.
Speaking at a press conference, sporting director Thiago Scuro did not hide his uncertainty. "We'll have to see what happens this summer. After that, things will be clearer, and we'll know if he extends or not," he said, as reported by Foot Mercato. A vague message, but one that confirms all options remain open.
At 26, Krépin Diatta is coming off a mixed season, marked by injuries and limited playing time. Yet, his profile is still valued for his versatility across the attacking line. However, his future may depend on Monaco's upcoming squad moves.
