Ghana: the federation considers Patrice Beaumelle for head coach position
In recent days, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reportedly received a French application for the role of Black Stars head coach.
For weeks, the Ghanaian federation has been on the hunt for a new head coach for Ghana following their split with Carlos Queiroz. Now, the GFA is said to be reviewing the CV of Patrice Beaumelle.
According to information from Micky Jnr, the French tactician has been put forward to the recruitment team. The leadership reportedly views his profile favorably, impressed by his experience and deep understanding of African football.
Having worked in Zambia, Ivory Coast, Angola, and Morocco—either as an assistant or as head coach—the former right-hand man to Hervé Renard, a two-time Africa Cup of Nations winner in 2012 and 2015, has also managed clubs such as MC Alger and Espérance de Tunis, where he most recently left his mark.
