Ballon d'Or 2025: France Football reveals the numbers behind Ousmane Dembélé's triumph
The numbers are in for the 2025 Ballon d'Or, claimed by Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé.
On Friday, France Football unveiled the detailed voting breakdown for Ousmane Dembélé's coronation. Unsurprisingly, Ousmane Dembélé stands alone at the summit of the rankings. Topping the table with 1,380 points, the PSG forward secured first place from the voters 73 times out of 100. Dembélé appeared in every single top 10, a feat matched only by Lamine Yamal in this year's tally.
The Barcelona star trails Dembélé by 321 points, with the Spaniard taking the top spot in 11 ballots. Among other names to receive first-place votes were Vitinha (6 times), Mohamed Salah (4 times), Achraf Hakimi (3 times), and Kylian Mbappé (once). In Scotland, Scott McTominay was awarded first place, while in Georgia, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia earned the top vote from his country's panel.
