The international break has claimed yet another casualty in the FC Barcelona squad.

On the eve of facing Georgia in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Dani Olmo left training prematurely today. According to Marca, the Spanish midfielder is expected to miss tomorrow’s match. The outlet reports that Olmo has suffered a calf injury and is now at risk of missing the rest of this international break with Spain.

Medical examinations scheduled for this afternoon should provide more information on the extent of the injury. “Dani arrived with some minor physical issues and fatigue. Today, he wasn’t comfortable and after 15 minutes, he stopped training. He went to undergo tests,” confirmed Luis De La Fuente in a press conference.
