Zamalek SC gave their opponents no chance. At the Cairo International Stadium, the White Knights ran riot against the Djibouti champions and secured their place in the round of 32 of the CAF Champions League.

A masterclass from Abdallah

El-Said At 41, Abdallah El-Said reminded the entire stadium why he remains a master of the game. He scored a hat-trick in the 7th, 8th and 19th minutes. In the 90+3rd minute, Nasser Mansy added a fourth goal for the hosts.

Having already won 2-1 in the first leg in Djibouti, Zamalek therefore secured victory with an aggregate score of 6-1. AS Port tried their best but were never really in the game against the Egyptians’ dominance.

Next challenge: APR FC

Having secured qualification, Zamalek now turn their attention to the second round of the CAF Champions League. The Egyptians will face the Rwandan Patriotic Army, APR FC, who knocked out the Eagles of Congo.
