During an extraordinary press conference held this Thursday in Paris, the collective of lawyers representing the Senegalese Federation took aim at CAF and the Royal Moroccan Federation over the CAN 2025 final.

French lawyer Pierre-Olivier Sur pulled no punches when addressing the suspicions surrounding the process that led to the decision contested by Senegal.

"Our opponents want a poisoned medal. Our job is to find the source of that poison. We don't yet know if there was any corruption, but we're working on it. If there is, in our profession, that's called a criminal matter," he told the press.

This statement highlights the growing tension surrounding the case, which has now been brought before CAS.
