Tanzania will compete in Group B of the the 2026 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations alongside South Africa, Ivory Coast, and Burkina Faso.
Overview of the Tanzania women's national team
This will be the Tanzanian side's third appearance at the tournament, following campaigns in 2010 and 2024—both marked by early exits in the group stage. Looking to shake up the hierarchy in Morocco, the squad will rely on star striker Clara Luvanga. Playing her club football in Saudi Arabia, the young forward is set to be the team’s main attraction after netting an impressive 31 goals this season.
