As for Morocco, they clinched a narrow victory over Sierra Leone thanks to a goal scored in the second period of extra time by Ilias Boumassaoud, the FC Den Bosch player.

In the past, the two sides have met four times. The Cubs have won just once, with Egypt claiming two victories, while one match ended in a draw.

Their most recent encounter came last November, when Morocco secured a 2-1 win.

This North African derby promises to be a tightly contested battle between two teams renowned for their tactical maturity and mental strength.
