Champions League: Lamine Yamal dethrones Mbappé

Lamine Yamal continues to defy all expectations. Against Eintracht Frankfurt, the young FC Barcelona sensation once again shaped his team's destiny with a stroke of genius: a perfect assist for Jules Koundé's second goal, allowing Barça to turn the game around. This action was not only decisive... but historic.

With this latest contribution, Yamal now boasts 14 assists in the Champions League, surpassing Kylian Mbappé, who had 13 at the same age. At just 18 years old, the Spaniard becomes the most influential player in the history of the competition for his age group. A feat that speaks volumes about his precociousness and his impact on a rebuilding Barça side.

Already with 17 appearances this season, tallying 6 goals and 7 assists, Yamal proves match after match that he is no longer just a prospect, but a key figure in the Catalan lineup. Camp Nou has undoubtedly found its new star.
