Five years after their last encounter, Paris Saint-Germain are set to face Atalanta Bergamo this Wednesday, in the opening matchday of the 2025/2026 Champions League.

The Parisians, under the guidance of Luis Enrique, begin their title defense without star Ousmane Dembélé, who is sidelined due to an injury sustained during the international break with his national team.

The clash will take place at the Parc des Princes and will be officiated by Swiss referee Sandro Scharer, 37, who previously refereed PSG in 2021 during a draw against Club Brugge.
