Club Africain: Ben Ali officially unveiled, Cherifi on the verge of departure

Club Africain announced on Tuesday, July 8, the official signing of Houssem Ben Ali, who has committed to the club until June 2027. The player successfully passed his medical examination ahead of the deal.

At 29 years old, Ben Ali joins CA as a free agent following the end of his contract with Étoile Sportive du Sahel. He previously wore the colors of Club Sportif Sfaxien.

Meanwhile, Mosaïque FM radio has reported that ES Sétif (Entente de Sétif) has entered into serious talks with Club Africain defender Toufik Cherifi with the aim of signing him during this summer transfer window.

According to the same sources, negotiations have already involved the player himself, his agent, and CA officials. The deal could take shape quickly in the coming days.

At the same time, the Club Africain squad is kicking off a pre-season training camp in Tabarka this Tuesday, which will run until July 15. Two friendly matches are scheduled during this camp, with opponents to be announced at a later date.
