Club World Cup 2025: Mohamed El-Shenawy rises to the elite
Egyptian goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy has earned a spot in the Top 10 best players of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Delivering a stellar performance against American side Inter Miami, the “Pharaohs” last line of defense helped his club Al Ahly secure a draw in the tournament’s opening match.

He currently sits ninth in the ranking of the Club World Cup’s top players with an impressive score of 8.6 out of 10, according to ratings from the specialist site “Sofascore.”

For the record, Mohamed El-Shenawy made five saves in the opening match against the Florida franchise.
