Club World Cup 2025: two Algerians included in Borussia Dortmund squad

Borussia Dortmund has unveiled the list of players who will take part in the Club World Cup, set to be held in the United States starting June 15.

Two Algerian players will be in the squad of the European football giants, namely the two central defenders, Ramy Bensebaïni and Elias Benkara.

Drawn in Group F, Borussia Dortmund will face Fluminense Football Club (June 17), Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club (June 21), and Juventus (June 26).

Ramy Bensebaïni's season in numbers

Across 44 appearances for Borussia Dortmund in all competitions, the Fennec star netted 3 goals and provided 7 assists.

Elias Benkara's season in numbers

The young defender featured in 31 matches for the youth teams, contributing to 3 goals. At just 18 years old, Elias Benkara is already on the radar of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF).
