FC Barcelona: Lamine Yamal opens up about his private life

In top form with FC Barcelona at the start of the year, Lamine Yamal stands out not only for his on-field performances but also for the way he manages his life off the pitch.

In an interview with ESPN, Lamine Yamal explained that he tries to remain a normal teenager despite his growing fame. "I do what all kids my age do: I go out with my friends, I take care of my brother, I play PlayStation, I go for walks... Things like that," he said.

For Yamal, switching off from football is essential: "I try to make the most of my day, and when I'm on the pitch, I give it my all, but once I'm off the field, I do the same by disconnecting from football as much as possible."

The young Barcelona star also reflected on what his day would be like if he weren't famous: "First, I'd have breakfast on a terrace. In the afternoon, I'd play a football match in a park... And then I'd go for a bike or scooter ride with my friends. Just normal stuff."
