FC Metz: Joseph Nduquidi set for imminent contract extension
Joseph Nduquidi

Angolan international Joseph Nduquidi is expected to sign a contract extension with FC Metz in the coming hours.

According to Le Parisien, FC Metz is set to lock down young Joseph Nduquidi with a new deal. The newly promoted Ligue 1 club is moving quickly to secure the future of their midfielder. After several weeks of negotiations, all parties have reached an agreement to extend his contract by an additional two years, keeping him at the club until 2028. His current deal was set to expire next year.

After breaking through in the 2023-2024 campaign, Nduquidi saw less playing time last season (5 starts in Ligue 2). He is expected to put pen to paper on his new deal in the coming days.
