FC Santos: Neymar sparks controversy upon return

Evidently, Neymar Jr’s return to Santos will have to wait a little longer.

Indeed, the Brazilian forward did not travel with his team for the season restart. FC Santos explained the absence of the Brazilian star by citing the need for him to continue a specific training program to regain peak physical condition. This reasoning suggested that the former PSG player was fully focused on his recovery.

However, just a few hours later, Globo reported that Neymar Jr was spotted in São Paulo, actively participating in a poker tournament. This latest appearance is sure to stir up debate in Brazil, as questions about his fitness and commitment have been swirling ever since his return to Santos.
