FIFA: "FIFA Forward Enterprise" sparks concern among several sponsors

According to recent reports from The Times, the revelations surrounding the "FIFA Forward Enterprise" project continue to undermine the position of FIFA president Gianni Infantino.

Indeed, whistleblowers cited by the British outlet claim that the FIFA president had been considered to lead the future commercial company once his term ended. Gianni Infantino was reportedly eyeing an annual salary of $30 million. On top of that, he would have received bonuses tied to his role within this new structure.

The Times also notes that the controversy is beginning to worry FIFA's commercial partners. The British publication confirms that several of the world football governing body's sponsors have reached out to senior executives seeking clarification.
