FIFA window: Badou Zaki unveils Niger squad

The head coach of the Niger national team has announced the squad list for the upcoming FIFA matchdays.

Badou Zaki has called up 25 players, including 3 goalkeepers, 9 defenders, 6 midfielders, and 7 forwards.
The absence of several names such as Mohamed Ali, Moussa Ibrahim, Majid Soumana and others was particularly notable.

The selected players will take part in two friendly matches as part of the "Morocco, Capital of African Football" tournament during the upcoming FIFA window.

On March 27, Niger (the Mena) will face Libya, with kickoff at 19:00. The second match will see Badou Zaki and his squad go up against Togo (the Sparrowhawks) on March 31 at 16:00 GMT.

Through these two tests, Niger will prepare for upcoming official competitions, most notably the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
