Inter Miami: Lionel Messi's new coach arrives (Official)

Inter Miami has secured its new head coach this Tuesday.

Just days after the departure of Javier Mascherano and Guillermo Hoyos's interim stint, the Florida franchise has decided to appoint another Argentine: Kily Gonzalez. He will now lead a squad that includes several of his compatriots, most notably Lionel Messi.

A former midfielder who played for clubs such as Boca Juniors, Valencia, and Inter Milan, Kily González began his coaching career in 2020. The Argentine manager has since coached Rosario Central (2020–2022), Unión Santa Fe (2023–2025), and Platense (2025).

At Inter Miami, Kily González's first task will be to revitalize a team that has won only one of its last nine matches across all competitions.
