JS Kabylie is on the verge of finalizing the appointment of a new sporting director. Fresh from his return from Tunisia, Yazid Mansouri is expected to take up his duties swiftly and play a pivotal role in the major decisions of the summer transfer window.

JS Kabylie is preparing to welcome a heavyweight addition to its management structure. According to Algerian outlet Compétition, Yazid Mansouri arrived in Algiers on Tuesday evening after terminating his contract with Espérance de Tunis. His official presentation as technical and sporting director now appears to be just a matter of hours away.

However, the former Greens captain did not wait for his official signing to get to work. Still according to Compétition, Mansouri has already tried to persuade Mehdaoui to join JSK and has also been involved in discussions regarding the club's future head coach.

Moreover, a meeting with president Adel Boudedja is reportedly scheduled to discuss summer recruitment. The Kabyle management is counting on Mansouri's experience to build a squad capable of challenging for top honors as soon as next season.
