Mahamadou Baba Cissé lays out his vision for Malian football
Mahamadou, known as Baba Cissé, was elected on Thursday, April 16, as president of the Malian Football Federation for a four-year term. The successor to Mamoutou Touré presented his vision and ambitions in a brief statement.
Taking office amid a crisis, Mahamadou, known as Baba Cissé, is setting the tone for his tenure with a focus on cohesion and unity.
Our first commitment is clear: we want to bring everyone together, ease tensions, and move beyond disagreements to turn our differences into collective strength. My ambition is to build a strong, reliable, and united federation.
The new president of FEMAFOOT aims to revive Mali's national teams and organize domestic football.
We are committed to preparing our national teams with precision, professionalism, and ambition, while organizing regular, well-structured, and attractive national competitions. Promoting youth football and women's football will also be at the heart of our priorities.
The third pillar of the governance of the ABM Foot Academy president concerns the development of technical staff.
Finally, we will strengthen the training of coaches, referees, and supervisors to sustainably raise the standard of our football. Starting today, I call for unity and solidarity among everyone involved in the sport.
