Mali: Mahazou Baba Sissè officially elected president of the Malian Football Federation

As anticipated, Mahazou Baba Sissè has become the new president of the Malian Football Federation. He was elected during the extraordinary electoral general assembly on April 16, securing 69 out of 72 votes, amounting to 95.83%.

Mahazou, widely known as Baba Sissè, becomes the fifteenth president of the Malian Football Federation (FEMAFOOT). He succeeds Mamoutou Touré, known as Bavieux, the head of the ABM Foot Academy. This election marks the culmination of a long, "transparent and calm" process overseen by delegates from FIFA, CAF, and representatives from the UFOA-A region.

The new committee is set to be inaugurated on the nineteenth of the month, ushering in a new era for Malian football.
