Under contract with the Andalusian club until 2026, Bakagoal has no intention of moving during the summer transfer window.

According to the Spanish outlet ElDesmarque Betis, he has just turned down an offer from Greek side PAOK Thessaloniki.

This decision did not sit well with the Spanish club's management, who were hoping to open up a spot in attack to bring in a new striker.

Unable to force the Congolese forward to leave, Real Betis will be compelled to include him in their plans for the 2025-2026 season and consequently abandon the idea of signing a new attacker.

Cédric Bakambu's statistics with Real Betis

Signed in 2024 from Galatasaray, the former France youth international has featured in 47 matches for the Verdiblancos, scoring 11 goals and providing 4 assists.
