Official: Danny Namaso signs with AJ Auxerre

Cameroon international Danny Namaso has officially joined AJ Auxerre.

AJ Auxerre confirmed the arrival of Danny Namaso on Sunday, August 17, 2025. On loan from FC Porto with an option to buy, the Cameroonian forward will wear the number 19 for his new club. Namaso made 106 appearances for Porto, including 15 in European competitions, and boasts a Portuguese league title as well as two domestic cup triumphs.

"A new boost for AJA! The club is delighted to announce the arrival of Danny Namaso, joining on loan with an option to buy. The 24-year-old striker comes from FC Porto and will wear the number 19," announced AJ Auxerre.
