Jérémy Mounsesse

Jérémy Mounsesse, the young Congolese defender developed at Olympique Lyonnais, joined Quevilly-Rouen this Friday, July 4, 2025.

Another young talent from Lyon's academy is on the move. A club-trained prospect has officially signed with Quevilly-Rouen. This time it's 19-year-old Congolese centre-back Jérémy Mounsesse.

"Trained at the club since 2021 and winner of the Gambardella Cup in 2022 in Lyon’s colours, Jérémy Mounsesse climbed the ranks to reach OL’s reserve team. A key figure in Gueïda Fofana’s central defense in National 3, with 23 appearances out of 26 this season, the young Congolese defender has joined Quevilly-Rouen in the National after signing his very first professional contract with Olympique Lyonnais," reads OL’s official statement.
