Official: Lucas Vazquez signs with Bayer Leverkusen

In just a matter of hours, Bayer Leverkusen wrapped up a deal with Real Madrid legend Lucas Vazquez. He has officially put pen to paper.

Out of contract this summer after a decade at Real Madrid, Lucas Vazquez has already found his next destination. A five-time Champions League winner and four-time La Liga champion, the Curtis native will embark on his first adventure abroad after signing with Bayer Leverkusen in Germany.

"Bayer 04 have signed Lucas Vazquez, a five-time Champions League winner. The 34-year-old Spaniard has signed a contract with the Werkself until 2027," announced the German club in an official statement.
