Official: Luka Modrić Lands in Milan to Complete Free Transfer from Real Madrid

Luka Modric's officially arrived in Italy to finalize his free transfer to AC Milan after parting ways with Real Madrid at the end of his contract.

Modric Touches Down in Milan

The 38 year old Croatian midfield maestro was spotted at Milan Malpensa Airport with Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio sharing footage of the moment on Sky Sport Italia.

Modric's now scheduled to undergo his medical and sign deal with AC Milan ahead of the 2024 /25 season.

"I’m very happy to be here. Big challenges await" Modric told reporters upon his arrival.

Deal Details Revealed

According to multiple reports, Modric'll sign 1 year contract with the Rossoneri, earning salary between 2.5 to 3 million euro per season , roughly half of what he received during his final year at Real Madrid.

A New Chapter in Serie A

After over decade of success with Los Blancos including 5 Champions league titles and Ballon d’or in 2018, Modric now brings his elite experience to Milan where he's expected to play key leadership role in the midfield.
