At the end of the first half of this Champions League quarter-final first leg, PSG lead against Liverpool (1-0).

Right from the start, PSG took an early advantage in this clash. The Parisians needed barely ten minutes to break down the English defense. Indeed, found inside the box on the left, Désiré Doué lobbed Mamardashvili with a shot deflected by Gravenberch (1-0, 11').

Afterwards, the Reds responded by pushing higher up the pitch for several minutes, trying to disrupt PSG’s build-up play. Still, the score remained 1-0 on the scoreboard.

A response from the Reds is expected in the second half.
