Rachid Ghezzal and Çaykur Rizespor have parted ways after just one season together. The 32-year-old Algerian international left the Turkish club at the end of his contract on June 30, 2025.

Signed in July 2024 from Beşiktaş, Rachid Ghezzal continued his journey in Turkey wearing the Çaykur Rizespor jersey. Across all competitions, he made 25 appearances, netting 4 goals and providing 2 assists during the 2024/25 season. Despite his contributions, the club opted not to extend its partnership with the Algerian winger. The management officially announced the end of their collaboration at the close of the season, with no talks of a renewal.
