Real Madrid: Vinicius Jr's market value falls
In recent days, Vinicius Jr's standing has continued to plummet in the transfer market.
Indeed, according to Transfermarkt's latest valuation update, Vinicius Jr is now valued at €130 million, compared with €200 million in October 2024. That represents a €70 million drop in just two years for the Brazilian, who at the time shared the status of the world's most expensive player with Erling Haaland.
However, it should be noted that the Brazilian's statistics remain impressive. After scoring 22 goals and providing 19 assists during the 2024–2025 season, Vinicius Jr also improved his record with 33 goals and 14 assists in 2025–2026. This decline is explained less by his offensive output than by Real Madrid's collective performances, his disappointing displays for the Brazilian national team and a less favourable perception of his current level compared with his best years.

Vini Jr's devaluation contrasts with the progress of several young Real Madrid players. Yan Diomande has notably recorded the biggest increase in this La Liga update, rising from €90 million to €120 million despite having played fewer than 300 minutes and making just two starts for Real Madrid. Arda Güler has also seen his valuation rise by €10 million, reaching €100 million.
