With Roberto De Zerbi now at the helm, Tottenham have already begun reshaping their transfer plans, with a clear new direction beginning to take shape.

According to CaughtOffside, the north London club are preparing to move for RB Leipzig midfielder Arthur Vermeeren, currently on loan at Marseille, provided they secure their Premier League survival.

It was De Zerbi who originally pushed for the Belgian’s loan move from Leipzig, and the Italian coach is understood to be a strong admirer of the 21‑year‑old’s abilities. He is now expected to do everything in his power to bring the player into his Tottenham squad.

The deal could cost Spurs in the region of €20 million. Vermeeren remains under contract with Leipzig until 2029 and has made 21 appearances this season across all competitions, logging around 1,000 minutes and registering two assists.
