Salifou Diarrassouba to Simba? Tanzanian club puts an end to the rumors

A well-informed source within the Tanzanian club Simba SC has categorically denied any negotiations with Ivorian midfielder Salifou Diarrassouba (23), who currently plays for ASEC Mimosas.

According to the same source, as reported by renowned African journalist Micky Jnr, the player is not among the club's priorities and Simba is not considering his signing during the current summer transfer window.

The Simba technical management believes that Diarrassouba does not fit the profiles they are currently targeting, dismissing the rumors linking him to the club as completely unfounded.

Salifou Diarrassouba's season in numbers

Despite Simba's lack of interest, Salifou Diarrassouba is having an impressive season with ASEC Mimosas.

He has featured in 10 CAF Confederation Cup matches, scoring 3 goals over a total of 816 minutes played, which averages out to 81 minutes per game.

In the Ivorian league, his attacking efficiency is equally notable, with 5 goals in 12 matches, translating to an average of 0.57 goals every 90 minutes.
