Samuel Asoma close to leaving Helsingborg

The official announcement is expected next week.

Samuel Asoma is set to leave Helsingborgs IF in the coming days. According to Expressen, the 23-year-old midfielder will join Finnish club Vaasan Palloseura, with both teams having already reached an agreement on the transfer.

Brought in last year from Trelleborgs FF, Asoma played 25 Superettan matches in his first season, starting 15 of them. Despite being under contract until 2028, new head coach Stevie Grieve has given the green light for his departure.
