Transfer: Al Ahly settles the futures of Emam Ashour, Mostafa Shobeir and Marwan Attia
Al Ahly is on the verge of definitively closing the chapter on the departures of several of its key players. The chances of seeing Emam Achour, Mostafa Shobeir, and Marwan Attia leave the club during the summer transfer window have greatly diminished, as no club has submitted an official offer that meets the board's financial demands.
No departure expected for Achour, Shobeir and Marwan Attia
The Red Devils' management remains determined to keep the core of the squad, convinced that squad stability is essential as the new season approaches.
Meanwhile, Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta continues, in close collaboration with the board, to assess his group in order to identify the team's final needs and secure the last signings before the transfer window closes.
During this summer window, Al Ahly has already strengthened its ranks with the arrivals of Moroccan Soufiane Benjdida, as well as ENPPI players Oktay Abdallah and Ali Mahmoud. The club has also ensured continuity by extending the contracts of several key figures, including Ahmed Nabil Koka, Hussein El Shahat, and Taher Mohamed Taher.
Third in the Egyptian Premier League last season, Al Ahly will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup for the 2026-2027 campaign.
