Transfer market: Brentford makes a move for El Hadji Malick Diouf

Brentford has officially submitted an offer to West Ham to sign El Hadji Malick Diouf. The Senegalese left-back, who is also being tracked by Manchester United, Inter Milan and Atlético de Madrid, is expected to leave the Hammers after their relegation to the Championship.

Brentford is stepping up their pursuit of El Hadji Malick Diouf. According to multiple sources, the London club has submitted an official bid to West Ham to secure the services of the 21-year-old Senegalese defender.

Discussions are currently underway between the two clubs as they look to reach an agreement. Signed just a year ago from Slavia Prague for around €22 million, Diouf is now valued by the Hammers at between €30 and €35 million.

Despite West Ham's relegation to the Championship, the Senegal international maintains a strong market value. With 34 appearances and 5 assists across all competitions last season, he remains one of the most sought-after players in the London squad.

Brentford is not alone in the race, however. Manchester United has also made an offer, while Inter Milan and Atlético de Madrid have inquired about the player's situation.

Just a year after his arrival at West Ham, El Hadji Malick Diouf now seems set for a new challenge, with several top clubs poised to battle for his signature.
