Transfer market: Here's why Arouna Sanganté didn't sign with Midtjylland

Although there was an agreement between Le Havre and Midtjylland, Arouna Sanganté saw his transfer fall through. Now we know why.

Arouna Sanganté has been a key player for Le Havre for several seasons now. The Senegalese defender, captain of the Normandy side, is coming off a convincing campaign with the historic club. In recent days, Midtjylland were eager to secure the Senegalese international.

According to Foot Mercato, negotiations were progressing well. In fact, a full agreement had been reached between the clubs for the Senegalese's move to Denmark. The Scandinavian club even traveled to Paris to meet the player, who was keen on joining Midtjylland. However, the deal fell through due to the player's agent, who ultimately scuppered the transfer.
