For the first time in the history of the U17 World Cup, ten African teams will take part in the tournament from November 3 to 27, 2025 in Qatar.

They are Burkina Faso, Mali, Morocco, South Africa, Zambia, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Tunisia, Egypt, and Uganda.

In the past, 21 African teams have participated in the tournament, collecting 7 titles: 5 for Nigeria and 2 for Ghana.

2- Ghana U17: 30 wins - 10 draws - 8 losses - 100 points

3- Mali U17: 18 wins - 4 draws - 10 losses - 58 points
