UNIFFAC U20: What time and which channel to watch DR Congo vs Gabon?

DR Congo's U20 Leopards begin their campaign in the UNIFFAC tournament, which serves as a qualifier for the Africa Cup of Nations in this age category. The defending champions face Gabon this Monday at Yaoundé's Olembé Stadium on matchday one of Group B.

DR Congo defend their title in Yaoundé

The U20 Leopards will defend their crown in Cameroon. They won the tournament in 2024 in Brazzaville against Congo (2-1), thanks to a brace from Tonny Talasi. They arrive in Yaoundé as the favourites. Raoul Shungu's players arrived in the Cameroonian capital on Saturday. The squad travelled to Yaoundé from Dakar, where they played three friendly matches, including two defeats (1-2 and 2-0) against Senegal's U20 side and a 0-0 draw with US Gorée.

Gabon aim to make a strong start

Gabon’s Panthers face the defending champions. On paper, they are not the favourites. But they want to cause an upset and give themselves a chance of reaching the semi-finals. The Gabonese side are in a tough group alongside DR Congo and the Red Devils of Congo-Brazzaville. Where can you watch the match? Both teams know what is at stake. They are aiming to qualify for the next U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana. This Group B opener will be broadcast live on MSI TV and on the same broadcaster's Facebook page.
