Urgent! Beşiktaş reportedly reaches agreement with Mohamed Salah
Coveted in Saudi Arabia and MLS, Mohamed Salah may ultimately continue his career in Turkey, as Beşiktaş has reportedly made significant progress in negotiations.
Mohamed Salah appears to be on the verge of joining Beşiktaş. According to Turkish channel A Spor, talks have taken a major step forward and a preliminary agreement is reportedly taking shape between the two parties. The Egyptian's lawyer is said to be present in Istanbul to finalize the negotiations.

The Istanbul club is said to be offering a one-year contract, with an optional extra year, and an annual salary of €12 million. According to journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Salah has lowered his demands after initially asking for €15 million per season.
Despite several lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia and interest from MLS franchises, the former Liverpool star reportedly prefers to stay in Europe. Turkey is said to be particularly appealing to the 34-year-old forward. However, Beşiktaş has yet to make any official announcement and the potential deal still awaits confirmation.
