West Ham United has announced the departure of Graham Potter, who has been forced to step down as head coach after a disastrous start to the season. The London club has collected only three points from five matches and now sits 19th in the Premier League.

Potter, who arrived last January, was unable to turn the club's fortunes around, despite finishing his first campaign in 14th place. His contract, which was set to run until 2027, will not be extended. The entire coaching staff is also leaving the club.

West Ham has indicated that the search for a new manager is underway. Among the names mentioned, Nuno Espírito Santo is the front-runner, while Slaven Bilic and Gary O’Neil are also in the frame for an interim role. The club now faces the urgent task of finding a successor who can revive the team’s season and steer them away from relegation to the Championship.
