Wilfred Ndidi: Beşiktaş shuts the door on Saudi Arabia

The future of Wilfred Ndidi at Beşiktaş remains uncertain. Having arrived from Leicester City in the summer of 2025, the Nigerian midfielder could leave Turkey, but only if a satisfactory offer is made to his club.

According to reports from Turkey, Al Diriyah made an attempt to sign the Nigerian international by offering around €7 million. Beşiktaş deemed the offer insufficient and decided to turn it down. The Istanbul club’s management is looking to recoup at least €10 million for their player. After investing €8 million in his transfer, the club does not want to lose money on this deal.

Even if Ndidi does not appear to be a top priority for next season, Beşiktaş believes his experience and physical presence warrant a higher valuation. Last season, the 29-year-old featured in 31 matches for the Black and Whites, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist. Now, it remains to be seen if any suitor will be willing to meet the Turkish club’s demands.
