Head coach Mohamed Ouahbi also shared his thoughts on Morocco's opening draw against Brazil in this 2026 World Cup.

Last night, Morocco lived up to expectations in their United States debut with a thrilling draw against Brazil (1-1). However, this result left the Atlas Lions' manager, Mohamed Ouahbi, with some regrets.

"I'm proud of what the players showed, proud of the way they responded, proud of what we put on the pitch. Proud of the players, very happy with them. But I also feel we could have gone for the win. We have to accept it, take the point from the draw, and keep moving forward. It's not a disappointment, but..." the coach said at the press conference.

"And I'm satisfied with this too: when I walked into the dressing room, I didn't see any euphoria. I didn't see players dancing or singing just because we drew with Brazil. Morocco is on another level now, and we have to embrace it. We have to aim to win every match, no matter who the opponent is," he concluded.
