In a recent interview with FlashScore, Emerse Faé laid out his ambitions with Côte d'Ivoire for the 2026 World Cup.

The 2026 World Cup is fast approaching. Côte d'Ivoire is eager to replicate Morocco's stunning run at the 2022 tournament in Qatar, and even go one better by reaching the final. At least, that's what Emerse Faé revealed in his interview with FlashScore.

"I've believed for some time now, especially after what we've witnessed in Côte d’Ivoire, that African teams must have greater faith in themselves because they have the quality to achieve great things," Faé stated, before making the Elephants' ambitions crystal clear. "I think Côte d’Ivoire has the potential to accomplish something extraordinary. We'll approach the tournament with the ambition to win every match, taking each game as it comes, and pushing as far as possible. Why not aim for the final?" declared the Ivorian head coach.
