The first major clash of the World Cup. between Morocco and Brazil ended in a stalemate (1-1).

Morocco came out firing in the opening minutes and took the lead thanks to Ismaël Saibari. However, Brazil’s determination was on full display as Vinicius Júnior eventually leveled the score with an unstoppable curling shot.

In the second half, the match lost some of its intensity, even though the Seleção managed to create a few dangerous chances.

The other Group C fixture, scheduled for Sunday, June 14, will see Haiti take on Scotland.
