The Mena National are already at work in Accra preparing for their first match in the AFCON 2027 qualifiers. Niger will face Lesotho on 25 September in Ghana.

18 players already present

After a recovery session on Sunday evening, 18 of the 25 players called up have joined the squad. The final arrivals are expected by Tuesday afternoon. Head coach Nabil Neghiz is asking his players to show discipline, determination and commitment. The coaching staff is continuing preparations with physical and tactical sessions.

The Mena want to make a successful start in Group A. The match against Lesotho is scheduled for 25 September at 15:00 GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium, or 16:00 in Niamey.
