Angers SCO fans are holding their breath ahead of the highly anticipated showdown with Paris Saint-Germain. Less than 24 hours before the kick-off of Ligue 1's 31st round, Angers suffered a significant setback as their star player exited the final training session due to injury.

Hervé Koffi, who has been named Angers' player of the season, picked up a foot injury on Friday according to Ouest-France. The Burkina Faso star may now miss the high-voltage encounter against the league leaders.

Koffi's absence would be a massive blow, as the Burkinabé goalkeeper has been the true backbone for Angers this season: he has kept 10 clean sheets, saved two penalties, and pulled off a series of sensational stops.
